SEO in Strumica
In a town this size you are rarely up against hundreds of competitors. You are up against a handful, and half of them have not set themselves up properly. That space is open.
Local search here works differently
When someone in Skopje searches for a service, you are competing with fifty businesses and with paid ads above all of them. When someone in Strumica searches for the same service, there are a few results, the map takes most of the screen, and the decision is made in about ten seconds on reviews, opening hours, and whether the phone number is right.
That changes where the effort goes. Most of it is not a fight over keywords. It is being completely and accurately present where people are already looking. Plenty of businesses here lose the position to something as ordinary as a wrong primary category, or opening hours nobody has updated since the summer.
Half the work is the Google Business Profile
If you have an address in Strumica, the profile is the fastest thing to fix and usually the most neglected. What we put right:
- the primary category, which is the single setting that most decides which searches you appear in
- name, address and phone written identically everywhere they exist, because two versions read to Google as two businesses
- opening hours, holidays included, which decide whether you show at all for a search made right now
- photographs from the last few months rather than from the year you opened
- reviews: how to ask for them without sounding forced, and why answering a bad one is worth more than the review itself
This is also the usual reason a business simply is not on the map at all. If that is your problem right now, we wrote the fuller explanation on the blog.
What we do on the site itself
The technical audit comes first, because there is no point writing content for a site Google cannot read properly. Speed, indexing, structured data, how it renders on a phone, and the errors that quietly hold everything else back.
Then the content. Pages written for what people actually type into Google, in Macedonian, with one clear question per page. If you sell three services, that is three pages, not one page with three paragraphs.
How long it takes and what comes back
Technical fixes and the profile show up within a few weeks. Positions for the services people actively search take three to six months. If you need something faster, say so, because the money then goes further in ads or social than it does in SEO.
Reporting is monthly, and it shows enquiries, calls and the searches you now appear for. Not a table of positions, because a position that brings no call is not a result.
