The brief

Dalibor Plečić is a writer, literary critic and translator. His work was everywhere except one place of his own: reviews commissioned by literary portals, translations living on publishers' sites, interviews on YouTube, and a novel, Bunike (PNV Publications, 2022), with a life of its own.

The brief was a personal site with a calm, editorial feel that puts the writing front and centre. No gimmicks, no portfolio theatrics: type set the way a critic would want it set. And three languages, English, Macedonian and Serbian, because his readers don't live in one.

The build

An editorial layout that reads like a well-set page. Reviews are the site's first-class content: each one carries the book's cover, the author, genre tags and a proper summary, so the reviews section works as a growing, browsable archive of his criticism, not a list of links. Alongside it: a page for Bunike, a blog for longer essays, an about page, and a directory pointing to where his work already lives (Booksa, Versopolis, Partizanska knjiga), plus his interviews.

Behind it all sits Sanity CMS. A new review goes from draft to published without touching code, which matters: the site's value compounds only if publishing stays effortless.

What it changed

A critic's work usually scatters across the publications that commission it. Now there's a single address where all of it accumulates, and every new review makes the archive more worth visiting. Editors, publishers and readers who look him up find the writing itself, not a trail of profiles.
